BABC-Y's Mission

The purpose of the British-American Business Association is to encourage business cooperation between the United Kingdom and the United States, in particular by facilitating association among British and American members of the business community of the Yorkshire & Humber Region and by providing an effective organization in which members can work together to further their business interests.

Become a Member


At BABC Yorkshire, we offer affordable membersip rates for both business and individual executives looking to raise their profile in North America. We welcome membership applications from all regional businesses with a planned or established link with North America.

Membership rates 2011 British American Business Council Yorkshire:

Corporate Membership           £199 pa + VAT
Individual Membership            £99 pa + VAT

Membership runs for a calendar year. A renewal invoice will be sent to you annually in November. Notice of non renewal must be received in writing by 30 days prior to the due date. Prorated memberships are offered for members joining after the beginning of the year; please contact us to discuss the details.

Sponsorship

In addition to the extensive opportunities to present yourself and your organisation to other members of the BABC, the British American Business Council provides both members and non-members with the opportunity to sponsor a variety of events and functions. Our programs are extensive, and have included a lunch with the US Ambassador, Trading with the USA Workshop, Working with the Americans Seminar, and several half-day events in conjunction with the Council for American States in Europe.

  • Members of sponsorship vary from annual sponsorship of specific events to non financial support in the form of hosting and speakers
  • Packages vary from £500 to £10,000 depending on the speaker and the event 
  • General sponsorship benefits include: Complimentary tickets to the event; Welcome and thanks by the Chair; VIP reception; Access to the Speaker; Company logo and hyperlink on the BABC events web page; Logo and branding on the invitation, ticket, menu, networking list; Photographs taken with the BABC and VIP Speakers and Business Leaders 

Sponsorship of our event program provides outstanding promotion opportunities to your business. In addition the benefits listed above are non-exhaustive and we are always willing to consider any specific requests you many have.
